Fabulous family run business
From start to finish they were great. Jack was very helpful from the first phone call to the leaving with a new car. We looked over the car and noticed a couple of things needed fixing and he was only too happy to help. The mot had failed because of a few things mainly the rear door but this was all sorted by the time i collected it 2 weeks later. The car is running dmoothly asnd i am very pleased with it. And i also got what i wanted in part exchange for my car.

Rang Jack up regarding an Audi he had in stock and from the very get go he was helpful, professional and looked after me every step of the way. He took phones calls when he was off work, answered all my questions and ensured the car was serviced, MOTed and in immaculate condition for me. Great to deal with, honest and friendly
I recently bought a user car from GB Autocare and was very happy with the service. This was the first time I'd bought a car remotely - asked various questions by email which were quickly answered. Unfortunately someone else put in a finance request for the car before I was able to make an offer, but they dropped out and Jack got in touch to tell me it was still available and that my offer was accepted, with no haggling. I got the train down from Scotland and Jack picked me up at the train station. He left me to have a look round the car and make sure I was happy before dealing with the paperwork, and I was on my way. Unfortunately after a while I realised the air conditioning was only blowing warm air, but when I got home Jack was happy to cover the cost of the re-gas needed. Overall, a great experience. Easy to deal with, helpful, honest and reasonable. Give them a visit, and buy a used car with confidence.

First made a inquiry through Autotrader. Even though it was a Sunday mornings Jack sent a text about the car. After a brief text exchange Jack called and gave me a over the phone price on my part exchange (which was a good fair price) confirmed what work to prepare the car. I paid a small deposit then went over a week later. The car looked brilliant and drove lovely so the deal was done! Nice friendly business with a real professional caring feel!

Dealt with Jack over a part exchange deal - In the end I pulled out of the deal due to a change in circumstance but Jack was great throughout - offered a really good deal for my car, and did his best to push through a deal. bought a mini convertible from nathan who was very pleasant , helpful patient and knowledgeable . Having a test drive was no problem , car wheels were black and chipped etc so needed cleaning up and one or 2 seals sorting , once fixed up car looked transformed ! The set up at gb autos is impressive , with access next door for sorting anything from new tyres to bodywork shop and then of course their car sales .
great after sales , had a wobbly mirror , they replaced . we have dealt with a lot of car dealers in past from dealer principals to small and sometimes dodgy independents ! GB autos totally professional and sell small but really good stock , Nathan sold us the car and very easy to deal with .. we will be back i'm sure , keep it up guys and still happy with blue mini cooper S convertible that your mum can't have Nathan!

Had a really nice experience at GB Autocar. Went to look at a car, was given plenty of time, test drive, lots of information, and no pressure. I would 100% recommend buying a car from GB Autocare. There is no hard sell, no pressure from them to 'seal the deal'. They clearly take a pride in what they do and sell quality cars at a fair price. The owners are mechanics by trade and have a keen eye for good quality used cars. I dealt with Jack. He was amazing, nothing was to much trouble and he answered any questions I had . He just left me to look at the car in my own time, at my own pace. He didn't hover over me like they do in other places ! There was a couple of marks on the alloys and some paintwork. As part of the price we agreed, Jack refurbed the alloys and sorted out the othr bits. I bought the car I went to see and can honestly say from the minute I walked into GB Autocare, to the minute i drove off with my new car was a fabulous experience.

Seen a Golf on Auto Trader. Was A bit far away, I live in Cornwall and the car was in York . I like to have a look or test drive before buying. It was just the car we were looking for though. Since I was purchasing a 2015 plate car with 124k miles, I asked if it would be possible to have the cambelt changed. Glenn made sure this was done, along with a full service, new cambelt, two new tyres, and an aux belt"”all completed before I even came in to view the car, which I am very impressed with.
When I visited to collect the car, my mum and I were greeted by Jack, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As it was my first time meeting someone from GB Autocare in person, Jack made us feel right at home. He gave us a thorough walk-around of the vehicle, explaining all the specs, and took me on a test drive while answering all of my questions along the way. Once I knew my decision was made, Jack took us into the office and guided us through the necessary paperwork, making the final steps smooth and easy. We shook hands and thanked him for his help.
Unfortunately, after bringing the car home, the engine management light came on with an error code indicating an issue with the DPF sensor. As someone who had dealt with constant issues with a previous car, I was understandably a bit disheartened. However, I reached out to Glenn that evening, and he called me back promptly on Monday to discuss the next steps. My initial preference was to take the car to a nearby garage and use the warranty, but when the garages I requested Glenn to contact were busy or didn't respond, Glenn went above and beyond. He arranged for one of his drivers, Rob, to collect the car on the Friday morning and provide me with a courtesy car in the meantime.

Rob was also fantastic"”friendly, and lovely to chat with during the exchange. The car was looked at in the garage, where it was confirmed that the DPF sensor was faulty. It was promptly replaced, and the entire vehicle was checked over to ensure everything was running smoothly. The car was also driven to make sure it was regenerating properly, which is crucial for a diesel engine. After the work was done, my car was ready the following Monday.
Being 95 miles away from the garage, I understand that delivery time slots depend on availability, but Glenn was very accommodating. I also asked if it was possible for fuel to be provided upon delivery, and Glenn said that would be fine, which was much appreciated. Rob delivered the car this afternoon at a time that worked for both of us, and as promised, there was fuel in the tank, and the engine management light was gone.
The level of care and service I received from GB Autocare has been outstanding. Usually, I'm a bit doubtful about buying a car 'online,' but everything is exactly as you read in these reviews. They've all gone above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, both before and after the purchase. I cannot fault anyone I encountered during this exchange, and I'm extremely thankful for all the measures everyone has taken for me. I'm happy with my car and the whole experience, and I highly recommend GB Autocare to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional, and customer-focused dealership. Thankyou!

I was dealing with Glenn, and he is a man that you would go to and recommend no matter where you are in the UK ..

GB auto provides you with one of the best aftercare policies. And true to the policy's and Glenns words, if you have a problem and without hesitation, Glenn, in my case, had my Hyundai picked up, all electrical faults fixed and redelivered the car back to me.

Never once did I get a bad vibe EVER when speaking to Glenn over the phone.I was never rushed to get off the phone either. I had a long list of niggles and I'm not sure I even wanted that car back at one stage.

Not a bad word at any time.. communication spot on.. All my wows were listened to and adhered to.. In my eyes, a gold premium customer service.you will rarely find anywhere else.

Be aware second hand cars may have faults, and you, the customer, should research your make of car wanted.. GB auto could possibly source a car for you, ask them, or ask the garage to sell yours on your behalf. They take the strain out of the car headache. Making buying a car much easier for you..

What I am saying is you, the customer, are the priority, so be nice to these guys you will be treated guaranteed with ongoing respect.. I'll for one will be dealing with this company again..

Glen and Brad at GB Autocare have been operating on our workhorse for a couple of days and we can't recommend them enough. We get five star service every time we use them
After making the massive mistake of using a nationwide company for our MOT (review in progress but that's a completely different story), these guys have given us an honest and trustworthy service, nothing is too much trouble.

They collected the van, worked their butts off to get it back to us in two days so we can get back to work clearing gutters out. They happily keep you updated regularly, which is brilliant for the anxiety levels! All done at an amazing price and the van is absolutely spot on, we're totally over the moon. Honestly, heaven is missing some angels

They're an amazing small business, very knowledgeable, professional and super friendly. The workhorse is already pencilled in for next MOT. Please do not hesitate to use them you will not regret it. We regret going elsewhere.

I recently bought a car and part exed my old one. What could have been a stressful experienced was made easy by their friendly but professional manner. They are mechanics first and salesmen second, so you don't have to put up with a lot of sales guff. They are definitely worth a look. PS If you have been to their site before and been put off by all the big pot holes- the landowner has now repaired them.

Highly recommended, if you need a decent used car, be sure to check these guys out, they're very helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied. I looked around a few places and it's amazing how hard it is to find a decent place to buy a used car, I looked around locally but I wasn't satisfied, these guys are a little out of my way, so I was a bit dubious, but I'm glad I went ahead. I'll definitely be coming back in the future to see what they have to offer, respect where it's due.

Having purchased a vehicle from this company,I found there sales staff very helpfull in showing me the car by video link, was delivered to me 259 miles away nice and clean . There was a slight problem with the car , but the owner Glen was extremely good and honest with me and had the problem sorted . In all the whole experience was very good and I would recommend this company to any one very trusted garage staff and owner. Many thanks
